Celebrating its fifteenth birthday in 2014, Eat Me has been called a veteran of the Bangkok dining scene, yet we think our restaurant feels as fresh and as alive as ever.
Some have put this down to our progressive approach, but we believe a number of factors keep diners coming back again and again.
Eat Me’s menu fuses influences from around the world, with the owner hailing from Australia and the head chef a defiant New Yorker. Dishes are characterised by daring flavour combinations, which showcase a kaleidoscope of international ingredients in starters such as Alaskan scallops with avocado, yuzu and pancetta, while a chicken salad is elevated to new heights by the addition of red papaya, toasted coconut and betel leaf. But the kitchen knows when to keep things simple, with classic dishes such as black truffle and Parmesan risotto and papardelle with rabbit ragù demonstrating a well-rounded understanding of flavour. Many of our regular customers often drop in for a steak, salad and a glass of good red.
